I love long drives. I love looking at the scenery. Imagining living in a new place. Counting blue cars. Searching license plates. Stopping to eat at an out of the way cafe. Playing the alphabet game. Talking to my husband. Today was a day for a long drive. And yes, sometimes there is joy in driving.
